After a measured inspection, a Check was submitted disputing the areas, and to reduce the adopted rate per sq m, due to excessive tone, and consequential action required.
Our Check was upheld with the Valuation Office in agreement to our revised areas, and reduction in rate per sq m from £125.00 per m/2 to £85.00/m2.
The Rateable Value was reduced from £18,750 to £11,250.
We applied for Small Business Relief
The total Business Rates Liability was reduced to £0, as under the £12,000 Rateable Value threshold. Savings over the 4 year Rating List equate to £36,487.
TOTAL SAVINGS ACHIEVED £36,487– with no ongoing Business Rates.
